I wish to raise the following three questions about Caenorhabditis elegans Osm-3, a member of the Kinesin-2 family:

1. Can we determine its stoichiometry using AFM in solution?

2. Can we measure its velocity using AFM in solution?

3. What kind of vesicle(s) does it transport?

Addendum primum:

I have just noticed this model.

Addendum secundum:

For GFP-labeled Osm-3’s velocity, see here.

Addendum tertium:

I have just noticed this model, in which KIF17, murine ortholog of Osm-3, releases its cargo by phosphorylation.

Addendum quartum:

A typo corrected.
